Thriving in 2025 – A Fantastic Finish to Term 1!

What a wonderful way to wrap up Term 1, 2025!

It has been fantastic to see so many families engaging with our school community throughout the term. Whether attending the induction parade for our school leaders, celebrating student achievements at the whole school awards parade, enjoying our open afternoon, or taking part in the Easter hat parade—it has been a joy to have families back in our school, sharing in these special moments.

Every day, I witness the incredible dedication of our staff in supporting students, families, and each other. It is a privilege to lead such a passionate and committed team. For me, family always comes first, and that same sense of connection and support extends to our school community. A strong and supportive school family lays the foundation for meaningful relationships, engaged learning, and a positive culture.

A two-week break is coming up—please make the most of this time to recharge and enjoy moments with your loved ones. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the start of Term 2 on Tuesday, April 22.

ANZAC Day

ANZAC Day is a time for Australians to reflect on the many different meanings of war and to honour those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

We will hold a commemorative service at Pumicestone State School on Thursday, April 24. Our students will also march with great pride at the community ANZAC Day march on Friday, April 25. I look forward to seeing our amazing community come together to support and represent our school at this important national event.
